Chronology: Volume Two continues the Third Day journey began by Chronology: Volume One. Like its predecessor, the Volume Two CD includes a mix of old studio tracks with live recordings and a few bonus goodies. The real treasure lies on the second disc, a DVD.
The DVD begins with an hour-long documentary in the vein of VH1's Behind The Music series that tells the Third Day story from the humble beginnings of Nuclear Hoedown to the Dove and Grammy-winning Third Day pinnacle. The documentary even shows Tai Anderson finally becoming an official band member after a decade of pseudo-membership. Additional videos include David Carr's footage from band members taking a trip to an Alaskan glacier, some live acoustic and electric songs ranging from 1992 to 2002 and home-made videos from fans seeking to be named Third Day's biggest fans. The DVD ends with a montage of clips over the past decade set to the song "Tunnel," concluding over two hours of video.
Chronology: Volume Two is a must-have for hard-core Third Day fans, provided Volume One is already in your collection. You'll already have much of what's on the CD, but the DVD is the reason to pick up Volume Two.
