Third Day has a rich history of live DVDs showcasing the band's history and live performances. Now comes Christmas Offerings: Live in Concert. This is not a clone of the 2006 Christmas Offerings CD, athough eight songs from that project are included, including four original Third Day compositions. A bit surprisingly, covers of "God of Wonders" and "Creed" are included while some "more Christmas-like" tracks are left out. At least this proves the band isn't obsessed with doing their own music only.
The overall feel of a Third Day Christmas concert is captured here, and although I would have enjoyed some "behind the scenes" features, this DVD is just a concert. However, all Third Day fans will enjoy it, as will fans of Christmas music who aren't overly familiar with Third Day.
