Everyday Sunday hails from Ohio, as does Relient K. There must be something there that inspires catchy pop punk tunes, because both bands produce them in abundance. Best Night Of Our Lives is probably my favorite over-all Everyday Sunday project. Previous albums have produced some excellent songs, but this one is just plain fun to listen to from start to finish.

There are plenty of good musicians out there, so vocals can make or break a band. Trey Pearson, the only remaining original band member, delivers his best performance to date on this album, whether on driving rockers like "Lies and Fear Go Hand In Hand" or power ballads like "Where I Ended" or "Here With Me." The latter could easily be used as a worship tune:

You said that You hold the earth and moon / And I know that the morning bows to You / So when the water rushes over me / You'll be there to pull me from the deep / I believe that You are / Everything You say You are / I will follow You forever / Even if I'm standing in the fire / I believe, I believe and I have seen / I believe, I believe You're here with me

The record ends with "Reprise," a great sounding instrumental. Fans of Everyday Sunday, Relient K and Hawk Nelson are sure to enjoy Best Night Of Our Lives.
