Attention is the full-length debut of Philmont, expanding their "Oh Snap!" EP with seven new songs for a total of twelve. The sound is reminiscent of old Relient K pop punk.

The first and last tracks focus on flying and our lack of control. The record kicks off with "Hello Jack," a catchy tune about the travails of a hijacked plane crashing in the mountains (I'd really like to know/ Who's in control of this plane) and brings the theme full circle by closing with "The Terminal," a mellow acoustic guitar/piano-driven tune about God being the one in control.

"The Difference" is a great track for young Christians, exhorting them that

There's gotta be a difference / It's gotta be significant / If You're really inside changing my life / You would shine, You would be evident / If there's a difference / There's a difference

If you miss early Relient K, you'll love Attention.
