Matt Redman's legacy as a worship leader was established with worldwide standards like "The Heart of Worship" and "Blessed Be Your Name." Of course, he wants the focus to be on Jesus Christ, and with his new album
10,000 Reasons, he has created a live project that once again inspires the church to join in corporate worship. With the roughly 10,000 worship albums already on the market, it's hard to imagine someone finding new ways to use words like "worship," "holy," and "Lord," but somehow Redman can make a song sound familiar yet fresh at the same time. I've only seen him live once, back when he was opening for Delirious? about 10 years ago, but singing along (mostly in my heart due to my inadequate voice) made it feel like I was getting a foretaste of heaven.
