The Absolute Favorite series has a well-earned reputation for quality compilations. Typically they combine some old favorites, current hits, and a few bonus cuts with previously unreleased material. The Christmas project is no exception. With excellent oldies such as Who You Are by Smalltown Poets and Sing Mary Sing by Jennifer Knapp combined with Todd Agnew's superb new Bethlehem Dawn, Big Daddy Weave's Christ is Come and a Tree63/Barlow Girl collaboration on What Child Is This?, there's plenty of material to enjoy this Christmas season. Some of the other artists include Andrew Peterson, Warren Barfield, OC Supertones, Palisade, Derek Webb, Kim Hill, Out of Eden and Michael English.
I recommend Absolute Favorite Christmas for everyone who likes Christmas music with a pop/rock flavor.
