After touring with artists like Michael W. Smith, Vince Gill and CeCe Winans, singer/songwriter Kara Williamson is ready to let her own voice be heard on her INO Records debut "Undisguised."

Williamson co-wrote the majority of the songs on the project, which speak honestly about her own struggle toward perfection. At the same time, she admits that even as Christians we all face trials and deal with brokenness, and ultimately, she points to the perfection we have through Christ, as she shares the hope that He brings to each one of us.

The projects highlights include the power-pop, opening "Bring It On," the melodic, sincere love song to her husband, Charley, "You Are The One" and the worshipful "More Than Enough." Another one of the project's standouts includes the Wayne Kirkpatrick and Michael W. Smith penned "Never Been Unloved," which echoes the album's theme that we don't have to prove ourselves to God or do anything to gain His approval.

Musically, "Undisguised" is a pleasing, pop-based project with emotive, airy vocals combined with thoughtful, heartfelt messages, which the lyrics convey. Listeners who appreciate the offerings of today's modern pop divas will welcome this effort, which is overflowing with Christian messages and is laced with Christ-centered, worthwhile themes.
