It is always fun to hear from a band that was great and then mysteriously breaks up. I was lucky enough to see Poor Old Lu at the Cornerstone Festival some years ago at what was alleged to be their last show. Well they are back and sound just like they used to sound. This is alternative music without any other type of categorization. If you like thoughtful lyrics and music that sounds like the Smashing Pumpkins, Sunny Day Real Estate, and U2, this one is for you.
