Along with the title track, I especially like a couple others: "Father of Lights" is a good rocker, although Randy Stonehill's song will probably remain my favorite by that title. The final song is the reflective prayer, "This Reflection," providing more theology than many contemporary worship songs. Of the song, Horn says it's a reminder that "we're all broken, and we must not forget that. Don't become prideful. Grace is the only thing in our lives that we have. Jesus is it. That's all we have in life." That's good advice and a meaningful way to end the album.
In Sound of the Broken, Jeremy Horn has offered up an above-average worship project for any fan of modern worship.
