The WOW Hits series continues to remain popular. As always, the 2006 edition offers plenty of variety, with well over two hours of music. There are quite a female artists or female-fronted bands that weren't included in 2005, such as Nichole Nordeman, Natalie Grant, Joy Williams, Krystal Meyers, Inhabited, Superchic[k] and Amy Grant--okay, she's not exactly a newcomer, but she wasn't on Wow Hits 2005. Other newcomers include The Afters, Josh Bates and the Robbie Seay Band. Additional familiar artists new to WOW in 2006 are Big Daddy Weave and relient K.

I especially enjoyed Strong Tower by Kutless, God Will Lift Up Your Head by Jars of Clay, Beautiful Love by The Afters, Much of You by Steven Curtis Chapman and Here is Our King by David Crowder* Band.
