My interest in apologetics goes back to my youth in rural Canada. I read my first book about creation and evolution when I was about 10, and was introduced to philosophy by reading Francis Schaeffer as a teen. I graduated with honors from Christian Heritage College (now
San Diego Christian College
) in 1983, earning a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education/English.
After teaching high school for a year in California, I wrote computer software at home for 14 years, and then taught a couple more years of high school in Colorado. My classes were English, Math, Geometry, History, Government/Economics, Computer Programming and Apologetics (Senior Bible).
I have been married to Joanna since 1983 and we have five wonderful children, plus two sons-in-law as of July 2010. My addiction of choice is ice hockey. I've cut back to playing only one winter and one summer league, but I've averaged more than a game a week for 20 years.
I've been a member of the Society of Christian Philosophers
and an associate member of the Evangelical Theological Society
. I'm currently self-employed, always looking for web programming jobs, so if your site needs a makeover, let me know! (And make sure you run your mouse over the Reformation Wall picture above.)
