Journalist Jake Woods narrowly escapes death in a vehicle accident and then finds himself in harm's way as he seeks the truth about what really happened. With a personal life that has been in shambles for years, he finds himself asking questions about the meaning of life even while researching the death of his friends.

What makes Deadline stand out is the way Randy Alcorn paints an original and believable picture of heaven, putting life on earth in proper perspective. There's enough action to keep readers turning the pages, and enough depth to make you think about the content.

I enjoyed Deadline and recommend it to anyone who enjoys action-packed fiction with an eternal perspective.
