John Hutchison, hero of Deadfall, returns in this thriller set mostly in Denver, Colorado. There's even some action at Casa Bonita, a spectacular theme restaurant where I've been several times.

The story begins with Hutch obsessing about billionaire arms developer Brendan Page, father of the late villain Declan Page who murdered Hutch's friends in Deadfall. Page has managed to protect himself from investigation, but Hutch is determined to bring him to justice. When Laura Fuller and her son Dillon visit from Canada, events quickly spiral out of control and Hutch is back relying on God, ingenuity and his survival skills against a deadly hi-tech enemy when his son Logan is kidnapped. Deadlock is packed with action, and the intensity rates at least a PG-13 rating. This is an excellent read for fans of action thrillers.
