According to Discovery News,
Hitachi's scientists are set to develop a brain TV remote controller letting users turn a TV on and off or switch channels by only thinking.
That should solve America's obesity problem.

At least they may start thinking. Got to be positive, man!

You are an inspiration to us all, Matt. Thinking would be an improvement, I suppose.

I have this great idea for a machine that we 'plug' into (think Matrix, but on a 'softer' spot) that converts our own body fat into energy to run our household devices. This will relieve us of burdensome things like excersize and calorie tracking, heck, we can eat all we want and only look like a svelt little fingerling couch potato, instead of a baking couch potato. But, this is only in the planning stages (the above is about as far as I've gotten)... so, I guess we still have to keep doing it the hard way until my genius has further bloom.

But check out our blog for a little weight loss inspiration... ;)

Anita, at first I thought your post was a spam comment that snuck through my filter! Your plan looks pretty effective. When we went to Switzerland, we never saw any obesity because there was so much hill hiking just to get around town.

According to scientists now, a fat virus is the root of everyone's problems.

Micah, that was pretty interesting. Between Hitachi and the healthcare field, we should be safe.
